I won't wonder why Coron is the first-class Municipality in the Province of Palawan. Why? Because I see it myself. I don't have any idea about its economic status, but what I know is how wonderful, beautiful, and perfect the scenery of every beach and islet is. It's great for divers, couples, beach lovers, and families on vacation.

A magical environment and the most picture-perfect spots in the Philippines. It's the Coron Island that has the most unimaginable and breathtaking sights you would never expect. Coron is a tropical island that has a unique charm of its own, located a 30-minute boat ride from the town on the largest island in the archipelago, Busuanga Island.

We arrived in Coron via Ferry from El Nido. However; if from Manila, the fastest way to get on the island is to fly via Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines.

Everything is amazing; not only that their prices are cheaper compared to other major cities in Palawan, from meals in restaurants, accommodations, tour packages, bars, etc. but also its priceless sceneries... that offers crystal-clear freshwater lakes, shallow-water coral reefs, limestone karst landscapes, and beautiful beaches.

You can do everything and anything on its stunning islands and enjoy beach camping, scuba or wreck diving, quality snorkeling, and mountain hiking...

Come! Let's go at...

It means "Seven Sins". According to local legend, it is the story of seven sisters who disobeyed their mother to swim in the tranquil waters and drowned, then after years, it sprung up and formed the seven islets being seen today.

It's the closest spot to Coron Town. Get here at Siete Pecados earlier because this is the first stop on most visitors' island-hop that can get crowded. Enjoy snorkeling along with shores of healthy and lively corals. Keep your eyes as you immerse yourself in the sparkling waters along with jellyfish, angelfish, sea turtles, squids, and sea urchins. See you inside, keep swimming & snorkeling.

Would you like to test your strength and endurance? Then, join us as we climb 300 steps, or around 15 minutes uphill, before reaching Kayangan Lake. Midway, there is a view deck overlooking the lagoon where you can take pictures.

Well, if that's too steep or far for you, then try the Barracuda Lake which has around 40 steps only.

I assure you that you'll enjoy swimming and snorkeling at this known 'cleanest lake in the Philippines', which has 70% freshwater and 30% salt water and is surrounded by a karst scenery of limestone cliffs.

So, let's dive-in...

BARRACUDA LAKE (Luluyan Lake)

The locals occasionally referred to it as "Luluyan Lake." It is located on the north shore of Coron Island. Barracuda Lake rewards you with the most unique diving experiences in the world where divers can experience a thermocline and halocline unlike anywhere else.. Its majestic rocky formations hide crystal blue water. The display of limestone formations that rise up on all sides and extend beneath the surface is so impressive!

As you dive and swim, you'll feel the strange increase in temperature due to the lake's mixture of salt and freshwater. You can even see the thin, distinct boundary that separates the two bodies of water.

So, divers, swimmers, and scuba enthusiasts; what are you waiting for, let's go...

Looking for the perfect place to swim? Then these two stunning lagoons are highly recommended, not just because it has crystal clear water and are peaceful and calm, but also because they have this very beautiful scenic view. Everyone loves to come here and left wondering if the place is real.

So, let it dazzle you with these blue lagoons with a backdrop of vertical, black, jagged karst walls!!!

Would you like to experience seeing the actual WWII (World War II) shipwreck? Skeleton Reef is the perfect site for you!

According to our tour guide, it's a great feeling to have seen a ship that was sunk in 1944. We arrived here with a few crowds, which was good for us because we could see the ship clearly. So, I suggest that if you want to see this shipwreck clearly, then come here earlier. The lesser the crowd, the clearer the water!

As you dive and snorkel, you'll see the top of the wreck about 6m from the water's surface and approximately 20 meters to the bottom of the ship. If you're skilled at freediving, you can enter and exit the inner areas of the ship because there are a few small windows and inlets into the shipwreck.

BTW, it was called Skeleton Wreck because it came from the fact the ribs of the wreck were left, showing a skeletal appearance.  The wreck was encrusted in coral and barnacles.

Along with beautiful fishes, join us while we swim and dive on the shipwreck!!!

You will enjoy diving, swimming, and snorkeling at this coral garden as you'll closely encounter diverse marine life. Swim around with fish, sea turtles, clownfish, jellyfish, sea urchins, and other species.

I can simply shout in silence here. It's the real beauty of nature! Unimaginable! I feel like I'm in another world—it's "Super-BEST"! Huh, I can't wait. Join me swimming here at Coral Garden.
